Join us in delivering unparalleled dining experiences and shaping the future of our resort's culinary excellence.The Food and Beverage Analyst will always conduct him/herself in a manner that supports the Core Values of Hyatt Hotels: Empathy, Experimentation, Inclusion, Integrity, Respect, Wellbeing ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Analyzing food and beverage sales data, including trends, customer preferences, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.* Working closely with culinary teams to analyze menu performance, pricing strategies, and profitability to optimize menu offerings and maximize revenue.* Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, ordering patterns, and supplier performance to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste while maintaining product quality.* Implementing cost control measures and analyzing expenses to identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.* Conducting regular quality assessments of food and beverage products and services to ensure consistency, adherence to standards, and guest satisfaction. The colleague is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: * A solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, cost control, and customer service. * Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control.* Experience conducting market research, monitoring industry trends, and analyzing competitor offerings to inform strategic decision-making.* Previous Hotel or Resort experience desired. WORKING CONDITIONS: The working conditions for a Food and Beverage Analyst at a resort are dynamic and diverse, reflecting the vibrant nature of the hospitality industry. You can expect to work in a collaborative environment, interacting with various departments such as culinary, procurement, marketing, and finance. Your workspace may include office settings for data analysis, meetings, and presentations, as well as onsite visits to dining venues, kitchens, and inventory storage areas to assess operations firsthand. Given the nature of resort operations, your schedule may vary, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to accommodate the demands of the business and seasonal fluctuations in guest traffic. This role often involves a combination of office-based tasks, such as analyzing sales data and preparing reports, and hands-on activities, such as menu tastings, inventory audits, and meetings with suppliers. While the resort environment can be fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure, it also offers opportunities for creativity, innovation, and collaboration. You'll have the chance to contribute to enhancing guest experiences, optimizing revenue streams, and shaping the culinary offerings of the resort.
