The attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of litigation, including case investigation, pre-trial discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials. Duties: • Handle all facets of litigation, including case investigation, pre-trial discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials • Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, advocating for their interests • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel • Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently Requirements: • 8 years of law firm or equivalent experience • Proficiency in litigation, preferably in commercial litigation • Excellent academic credentials • Strong writing, analytical, leadership, and communication skills • Organized and capable of managing deadlines effectively Education Certifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school This full-service regional firm doesn't think Manhattan is the center of the universe.
