Responsibilities: What Our Paralegals Do: • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, and legal briefs.• Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research.• Manage law office activities such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers.• Perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls and maintaining an organized case filing system.• Conduct client interviews to gather information about legal matters. Qualifications: What We Need From You: • 2+ years of legal service experience in a family law firm setting.• Paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education preferred.• Evidence of a valid Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance.• Clear, concise, and effective communication skills with a positive attitude.• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email; familiarity with legal software is a plus.• Strong organizational and time-management skills.• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in writing and grammar.
