The ideal candidate will represent employers and insurance carriers in defense of claims, providing strategic advice and counsel throughout the legal process. Duties:Represent employers and insurance carriers in worker's compensation cases from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on worker's compensation matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve client objectives and deliver exceptional service. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Valid license to practice law in Louisiana.Proven experience in worker's compensation defense. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents effectively.
