Position Summary: Our client, a leading quick-service restaurant, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join their team. This full-time role involves managing profitability, guest relations, team members, and operations to ensure the successful daily functioning of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a background in the food service industry and possess strong leadership and customer service skills. Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred 1-2 years of previous quick-service restaurant experience, management experience preferred Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability Demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed for the proper functioning of the restaurant Key Responsibilities: Profitability and Inventory Management: Manage inventory costs and maintain inventory by performing daily, weekly, and monthly inspections. Place and receive inventory truck orders. Maintain and regularly monitor a list of all restaurant assets. Ensure preventative maintenance of the restaurant facility and equipment is completed according to company standards, interacting with external vendors as required. Ensure the restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and managing cash drawers. Guest Relations: Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean facility. Provide coaching and feedback to shift coordinators and team members to increase the restaurant teams capabilities and enhance performance. Manage the guest experience through proactive service and resolving guest issues promptly. Team Leadership and Operational Excellence: Direct the restaurant team towards efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines. Ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards. Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary to support the team and maintain smooth operations.
