Performs basic quality techniques, possibly including calibration, to track, analyze and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure compliance with both the company’s and the customers’ quality standards. Inspects parts dimensionally with precision measuring instruments against drawings prints or masters. essential functions Follow all documented procedures and instructions APQP Team Member – able to initiate Control Plans, PFMEA, Flow Charts, Floor Layout, Capability Studies, Gage R&R, SPC, IMDS, Part Layouts Maintain FAI’s (First Article Inspections) Verifies nonconforming returned goods Assists in disposition of non-conforming products through MRB Assists with procedures and work instructions for QA/operator functions Responsible for equipment safety and performance Responsible for cleanup of assigned area Completion of all required paperwork Related projects as assigned required skills Use of Proper PPE Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends as needed. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
